This is an independent portrayal of Blade that will take into account both canon fact, occasional AU concepts and headcanons based on how I see and wish to portray the character.Below will outline my version of Blade and how I will be interpreting him as I write.

↠ Blade has some very deep trust issues, most specifically around women. As such he finds it hard to relax and let his guard down around women in particular. The only exceptions to that rule are Silver Wolf and Firefly.↠ Blade's relationship with Kafka is wrought with issues. There is a great deal she does that he does not like, but due to the lack of trust on his part, he does not voice anything. One example of this is her constant use of the nickname "Bladie". While Blade doesn't say anything to her, he does not actually like the nickname, as evidenced by the way he threatens Caelus/Stelle for using it once.↠ Blade's body is cold. This is because he is in a constant state of fight or flight and as a result, the body is keeping all his blood closer to his organs as a primal defensive mechanism. At times he is relaxed, his body will feel warmer to the touch.↠ Due to Jingliu's actions, among other things done to him, Blade does not like being touched and is easily startled by sudden, unexpected touch. If he's startled, his reactions can be violent purely because he's not certain if he's being attacked or not. It is best to get his attention an wait for his permission before touching him.↠ Similarly to the above, Blade does not like sudden, loud noises and such will have a similar effect on him as being touched without getting his attention first.↠ Blade finds people like March 7th to be overwhelming and can be easily overstimulated by them. Likewise, too much activity and high energy going on around him can overstimulate and overwhelm him.↠ Dan Heng is still one of Blade's biggest triggers, but he can be around him without falling into a mara stricken episode.↠ Some, but not all of, Blade's other triggers are as follows: sudden movements towards him, touching or reaching for his neck, recovering from a recent death, cold or ice

Some general things to keep in mind when interacting with my character.↠ To account for the things I don't know much about in regards to Blade and his history yet, Blade will have some issues with his memory in that some things he may not necessarily remember much of or at all sometimes.↠ I will NOT be shipping Blade with any of the other Stellaron Hunters. Silver Wolf and Firefly do not feel as though they have that kind of relationship with Blade and I do not see the relationship he has with Kafka as anything but manipulative.↠ My version of Blade does not have the long hair he does in game. Instead, his hair stops just shortly after his shoulder blades in more of a shaggy wolf cut, the idea being that he allowed Firefly to cut his hair.↠ Despite popular opinion, my version of Blade will NOT be adhering to this "batshit crazy" troupe I often see of him. I believe Blade is a lot calmer than most give him credit for and he's not nearly as violent as he's often portrayed to be. Yes, he has his moments and he is dangerous, but he's shown in canon to be quite calm a number of times unless he's provoked or triggered by something; ie. Kafka pulling at his mara affliction.↠ I will not be referring to Blade as "Ren" nor will he respond to it.

↠ I am still catching up with a lot of the lore in Honkai, but I have looked into most of Blade's history to understand the basics of him.↠ As of this edit (08/08/2025) I am almost finished Penacony but have not finished the Xianzhou side quests.↠ I will be taking a few creative liberties with my muses at times, but I will do my utmost to remain as true to the characters as possible.
